Successful Barcelona GT4 test for Alex
Looking forward towards the 2023 season, Alex was invited to attend a winter test at the famous Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, although a circuit famed for its Formula 1 heritage it made a great proving ground for Alex to test the Aston Martin GT4 car in an opportunity to impress for 2023.
A cold but sunny day provided a great opportunity for Alex to re acquaint with a car that he drove in the 2019 British GT championship and also throughout the end of 2020. However this time with very successful French team Racing Spirit of Le mans.
Alex had this to say at the end of a very successful day:
“Today has been an incredible opportunity to get back out in the Aston Martin GT4 car once again, but what has made it even better is the combination of incredible team and circuit!
“I can very much see why this team have had many successes in the previous years, the professionalism and focus is top class!”
“I can also see why this circuit is so popular amongst drivers and fans! It’s a real challenge, fast and flowing with some really technical elements! I’d love to come back here and race sometime! “
“I’m happy with my performance, strong pace and a consistent day! Very grateful to the team for the opportunity and definitely shows the appeal for 2023 in the European GT4 Championship!
Now just have to make sure we get on track in 2023.”
